'Cause they're of Tevinter, and they really hate it. And they're perfectly willing to act against it - I mean, you know what Max recruited us to do. That might have been indirect, us breaking into that man's house, but depressingly it might have been the strongest blow we struck against Tevinter in all our time there. But they're not just mindless, either. Vane's got the inside knowledge of the slave trade, and he's got the experience - he can tell us what the slaves there need, what their lives are like, how to get 'em to work with us in fighting Tevinter. And Flint - have you talked to Flint? You'll hate him, I expect, and him you, but only 'cause of personalities - but he thinks about revolution, and talks about it, and cares about it. Their first concern, at the end of the day, is recovering their island, but if they can be talked around to expanding their ambitions, they could be real allies. Not just people who are tagging along on this mission 'cause they want to see the world return to its state before Corypheus came along.
